Hi all. Thanks for the welcomes. I will most certainly ask questions when I need help. I'm still trying to get a GPS so until then I'm stuck at a standstill. I tried EBay about 3 times and was out bid by $1 almost every time. Rolling Eyes

I'll get one I'm sure.

Hi Fox....Amazon has good deals too ! A 60csx (the holy grail GPS) is about $249 which is $150 less than retail on garmin.com

I have my old Garmin eTrex that I will sell. No mapping or extra bells and whistles but it got me through my first 600 finds. $45.

Hi everyone! I'm Amanda, aka Willi Maw. I moved to Oakland in February with my (now) 10 month old son, Michael, aka Willi Boy. I began caching in 2006 in Western Oklahoma. Moved to Southeastern Oklahoma and cached there and then took a break for a while when I had Michael. He's now old enough to go caching with me so I'm back in the game again. My GPSr is a Garmin 60csx.
I cached here some in 2007 and logged caches as Pooter2001. I changed my username recently in order to accomodate Michael as well and we will be signing logs as "The Willi's". I'm excited about getting back into caching and can't wait to meet some of you. I was planning on attending a local 10 year event but the bad weather wasn't ideal for a young baby so I stayed at home. Hoping to meet you all on the trail or at an event soon.
