| Information: "Marvin Poole, An Adventurous Grandpa" starts off innocently enough. Parking is available relatively close to stage 1 with only a short walk required. The first stage terrain is not bad although it certainly is not handicap-accessible. Stage 2 is close enough to stage 1 that you can leave your vehicle parked in the same spot. Stage 2 gives you a little bit of everything in the way of terrain problems. Is special equipment required? It is probably not required and I did not use any. Will you wish you had some special equipment so that you don't slip & slide, get stuck with thorns, fall in water, wade through mud, etc.? Yes, you likely will wish you had at least one or two pieces of equipment, especially if it has recently rained or if vegetation is actively growing. |
